Many of you have inquired about some of the Living Foods recipes that I use. Here’s one that has been vital on this Road Trip, but is great for any kind of travel, or backpacking, or on the go snack. But first, a description of what “living foods” are.
Living foods are foods that contain enzymes which are vital to out body’s absorption of nutrients. These enzymes are found in all natural, whole foods, but they break down with the cooking process. Therefore living foods are foods that have not been heated beyond 116 degrees. A diet filled with living foods is shown to decrease disease.
Now for the recipe 🙂

1 cup Whole oats
1/2 cup Raw almonds
1/4 cup Raw sunflower seeds
